I am 100% amazed at how seriously clueless communists are. The reason communists are so clueless is that we allow them to bask in their fantasies. Obama knowingly associated with a known communist terrorist for many years. Moreover, his excuses on the subject say plenty about his arrogance. However, the Clintons pardoned terrorists
for votes. However, to Ren any discussion of a persons associations with Communists even terrorists who clearly commited crimes in the name of Marx is McCarthyite.

Commies also play a game with feigning ignorance about who is and is not a communist. For example the world's foremost anti-semite, endorsed by Ren, is a Maoist. Norman Finkelstein's supporters feign ignorance on the subject and the rabid one claims he is a "green". The only think Green about Finky is his book sales and speaking fees. Commies pretend he is just an ordinary Joooo outraged by Zionism. A similar charade is played by LSD clown Kovel who attempts to pretend he is Green while pushing anti-semitism.

However, the problem lies not with Commies who will push their madness until the rest of us are dead, but the rest of us. Two Iranian bloggers are to be executed for 'spreading corruption' - as Tehran cracks down on freedom of expression in the run up to its parliamentary elections in March.

Four journalists have also been arrested, prompting the U.S. State Department to urge Iranian officials to 'protect the rights of all its citizens and uphold the rule of law'.

It comes as Israel said the world must act quickly to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons, and the UN urged the West to resume talks with the pariah state.

If the Republican primaries are any indication, one big debate in the upcoming election will be whether President Obama is pushing the country toward a European-style welfare culture.

Mitt Romney, for example, argues that "over the past three years, Barack Obama has been replacing our merit-based society with an entitlement society."

Newt Gingrich has taken to calling Obama "the best food-stamp president in American history."

Obama, in contrast, says the government must play an increasing role — what he likes to call "shared responsibility" — to ensure a society that is fairer.

So is Obama turning the country into a welfare society and away from one focused on opportunity?

While it's true that the country has been headed in this direction for many years — with the explosion in entitlements since the 1960s and the aging of the population — Obama has, in fact, greatly accelerated the trend. Examples:

Direct payments. The amount of money the federal government hands out in direct payments to individuals steadily increased over the past four decades, but shot up under Obama, climbing by almost $600 billion — a 32% increase — in his first three years. And Obama's last budget called for these payments to climb another $500 billion by 2016, at which point they would account for fully two-thirds of all federal spending.

People getting benefits. According to the Census Bureau 49% now live in homes where at least one person gets a federal benefit — Social Security, workers comp, unemployment, subsidized housing, and the like. That's up from 44% the year before Obama took office, and way up from 1983, when fewer than a third were government beneficiaries.

Food stamps. This year, more than 46 million (15% of all Americans) will get food stamps. That's 45% higher than when Obama took office, and twice as high as the average for the previous 40 years. This surge was driven in part by the recession, but also because Obama boosted the benefit amount as part of his stimulus plan.

Disability. The number of people on Social Security disability has steadily climbed since the 1970s, thanks mainly to easier eligibility rules. But their numbers jumped 10% in Obama's first two years in office, according to the Social Security Administration. That sharp rise was due largely to meager job prospects since the recession ended in 2009. When employment opportunities are scarce, experts note, many who could otherwise work sign up for disability benefits instead.

Another Look at the State of the Union Address: 27% Turned Away After First 5 Minutes - TVNewser: Kantar Media studied the tuning behavior of 100,000 households across the United States in the moments leading up to, during, and after President Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday night. Kantar, which monitors the media for global clients, examined eight networks that aired the speech live — ABC, Bloomberg, CBS, CNN, FOX, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, and NBC.

Kantar used second-by-second audience data gleaned from set-top boxes connected to TV sets from 9pm – 10:30pm. It found:

In the first five minutes, 27% of the audience tuned away.

The networks that benefited the most from the initial tune-away were TBS, USA, and ESPN

CBS and FOX showed sharp losses in viewers at the top of the program, while ABC and NBC showed noticeable gains.

Tune-away was gradual as the speech progressed. No individual topics drove significant audience loss.

After the speech, Fox News Channel quickly gained viewers, becoming the second-most watched network after NBC. This gain presumably was in anticipation of the Republican response (seen in the second graph after the jump).

The idea is simple force the 279,381 delinquent tax payers who work for the federal govt., or are on a govt. pension pay the $3,420,168,684 in taxes they owe the IRS. For the ones who are working, give them a month to negotiate a payout plan with the IRS, if they don't first put a lien on everything they own...then fire them...it will free up the jobs for unemployed tax payers. As for the retirees--freeze their assets and dock their pensions.

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN NONCONTACTING MACROMOLECULES - Annual Review of Biophysics and Biomolecular Structure, 34(1):21: Molecular interactions are the language that molecules use to communicate recognition, binding, and regulation, events central to biological control mechanisms. Traditionally, such interactions involve direct, atom-to-atom, noncovalent contacts, or indirect contacts bridged by relatively fixed solvent molecules. Here we discuss a third class of molecular communication that, to date, has received less experimental attention, namely solvent-mediated communication between noncontacting macromolecules. This form of communication can be understood in terms of fundamental, well-established principles (coupled equilibria and linkage thermodynamics) that govern interactions between individual polymers and their solutions. In contrast to simple solutions used in laboratory studies, biological systems contain a multitude of nominally noninteracting biopolymers within the same solution environment. The exquisite control of biological function requires some form of communication between many of these solution components, even in the absence of direct and/or indirect contacts. Such communication must be considered when describing potential mechanisms of biological regulation.
