Obamacare and the DSM-5: Be Afraid; Be Very Afraid: One begins to see how having such a biased organization whimsically defining and re-defining mental illness in light of recent political developments might be, shall we say, troublesome to say the very least.

Merchant of Venice: Entire Play

Merchant of Venice: Entire Play:

Why then you must. But hear thee, Gratiano;
Thou art too wild, too rude and bold of voice;
Parts that become thee happily enough
And in such eyes as ours appear not faults;
But where thou art not known, why, there they show
Something too liberal. Pray thee, take pain
To allay with some cold drops of modesty
Thy skipping spirit, lest through thy wild behavior
I be misconstrued in the place I go to,
And lose my hopes.

Obama 'volunteerism' site ignores snow storm--and Sandy victims | WashingtonExaminer.com: President Obama has made volunteerism and public service a big part of his second term, but his United We Serve site, www.serve.org, has no mention of how people can help those being crushed by Friday's super snow storm in New England--or Hurricane Sandy victims who've been struggling for months.

New York Times Realizes New Taxes Hurt Poor the Most - Katie Pavlich

When many Americans received their first paycheck of 2013, they wondered why their paychecks were smaller. Obama supporters in particular were baffled, wondering why they were seeing less pay when they had just voted for a President who promised they would never see a tax increase, that after all was reserved for "rich" people. The first Friday in January, Google was flooded with the question, "Why is my paycheck smaller?" Workers took to Twitter and asked the same question.
Now, even the New York Times is realizing who the the newest payroll taxes hurt the most: poor people.

The Worst Five Years Since the Great Depression - Forbes

The Worst Five Years Since the Great Depression - Forbes: In February, 2009, I wrote for the Wall Street Journal an article entitled Reaganomics versus Obamanomics. The article explained that the emerging Obamanomics was pursuing exactly the opposite of every policy of the enormously successful Reaganomics, and predicted that it would produce exactly the opposite results.

Well, the results are in, and under President Obama the American people have now suffered the worst 5 years since the Great Depression

Rough Week For Liberals… Three Deranged Far Left Killers Make the News | The Gateway Pundit

Isn’t about time we had an honest discussion about liberal killers?
Isn’t it about time Congress took action on the crazy leftist mass killers?
Isn’t it time to ban all liberal establishments that promote this killing?
Isn’t about time we have hearings on leftist killers?
This was a rough week for liberals.
** First there was this crazed far left killer in Georgia…
Killer Nkosi Thandiwe learned all about hating whitey in college.
nkosi
Nkosi Thandiwe shot dead 26-year-old Brittany Watts and and injured two other women in the parking deck of the Proscenium building on July 15, 2011.
His trial went to court last week. Thankiwe confessed that he shot the three white women after he learned to hate white people in college.
**  Then there was this deranged far left shooter
A LGBT volunteer carrying bag of Chick-fil-A sandwiches shot up the conservative Family Research Center in August 2012.

The armed man who walked into the Washington headquarters of the Family Research Council and shot a security guard was later identified as Floyd Corkins, 28, of Virginia. Fox News reported that Corkins posed as an intern and was carrying a Chick-fil-A bag with him during the attack. He admitted he got his information from the far left Southern Poverty Law Center website.
** Finally there was this far left killer in California…
Another liberal freak goes on a deadly shooting spree.
cali killer
Chris Dorner, the suspected mass-murdering cop killer on the run in California, is a big supporter of leftist leaders and liberal media hacks. Before he went on his killing spree he wrote a 22 page manifesto full of praise for leftist leaders in media and politics.
Isn’t it time we discuss violent liberalism?

Full Audio and Text of Paul Harvey's Original 'So God Made a Farmer' Speech | Paul Harvey | Fox Nation

And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "I need a caretaker." So God made a farmer.
God said, "I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, milk cows, work all day in the fields, milk cows again, eat supper and then go to town and stay past midnight at a meeting of the school board." So God made a farmer.
"I need somebody with arms strong enough to rustle a calf and yet gentle enough to deliver his own grandchild. Somebody to call hogs, tame cantankerous machinery, come home hungry, have to wait lunch until his wife's done feeding visiting ladies and tell the ladies to be sure and come back real soon -- and mean it." So God made a farmer.
God said, "I need somebody willing to sit up all night with a newborn colt. And watch it die. Then dry his eyes and say, 'Maybe next year.' I need somebody who can shape an ax handle from a persimmon sprout, shoe a horse with a hunk of car tire, who can make harness out of haywire, feed sacks and shoe scraps. And who, planting time and harvest season, will finish his forty-hour week by Tuesday noon, then, pain'n from 'tractor back,' put in another seventy-two hours." So God made a farmer.
God had to have somebody willing to ride the ruts at double speed to get the hay in ahead of the rain clouds and yet stop in mid-field and race to help when he sees the first smoke from a neighbor's place. So God made a farmer.
God said, "I need somebody strong enough to clear trees and heave bails, yet gentle enough to tame lambs and wean pigs and tend the pink-combed pullets, who will stop his mower for an hour to splint the broken leg of a meadow lark. It had to be somebody who'd plow deep and straight and not cut corners. Somebody to seed, weed, feed, breed and rake and disc and plow and plant and tie the fleece and strain the milk and replenish the self-feeder and finish a hard week's work with a five-mile drive to church.
"Somebody who'd bale a family together with the soft strong bonds of sharing, who would laugh and then sigh, and then reply, with smiling eyes, when his son says he wants to spend his life 'doing what dad does.'" So God made a farmer.

Millard Tydings - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In 1922, Tydings was elected as a Democrat to the 68th session of the US Congress, and was re-elected to the 69th session, representing the second district of Maryland (March 4, 1923-March 3, 1927) in the House of Representatives. He was not a candidate for renomination in 1926, having become a candidate for the United States Senate.

During his time in the Senate, Tydings was well known for taking principled, controversial, often unusual stands on various issues. He opposed the New Deal due to his fiscal conservatism, and proposed a constitutional amendment requiring the federal budget to be balanced at all times. He was a strong critic of Prohibition prior to its repeal in 1933.[3]
