A Conservative’s Plea to all Americans
When we look at America what do we see? Do we see a United Union standing as one based on Godly principals bringing hope, unity and admiration for all of those who look upon us? Or do we see in ourselves what others see; a place of violence, a place of greed, a place of socialism, a place of godlessness? We used to stand, we used to hope and we used to build on values and morals and identity. I look around and I wonder if we even identify with who we are as a Nation, the backbone on which we were built or the future our forefathers left to us from the beginning.
We need change in America, we need to bring her back so others can see our history, our strength, our courage and our love for this once God fearing Nation. We have lost hope of who we are and what we were designed to be; we have lost hope in ourselves and we have lost hope in each other. We stand as the most powerful Nation on earth, yet our failures will become our own demise. We have failed to trust, we have failed to grow and we have failed to acknowledge the history of where we came from and the responsibilities of where we are going. Our Country’s strength is more than we comprehend yet we grow weak and take on the materialism and technology of a world that is all new to us. This new generation has flourished and has taken us to places we’ve never dreamed yet it is becoming a crutch affecting the way we feel, the way we act and the way we see the rest of the world. Our union has become fragile and our relationships are being damaged by what
were exposed to and what we grasp as reality. The diversity of our Nation also reflects the freedoms so many have searched for and a blessing for those who could reach it. Yet we have lost in the process, the meaning of America, where she stands and what she’s always stood for.
This is our America, our legacy and we have handed it over to those we seek to control her. We say we are free but are we? We have let Government take control of our businesses, our homes and our lives. Big Brother watches and waits and we have no say in what takes place. Our freedom of speech and freedom of the press is becoming censored in a way America has never known. We do not know what lays dormant in the land we call home or what the enemy has in store for our future.
Because of the tragedies that have surfaced the trust has been damaged and the rights of our people have been influenced. The rights to Christian values have been stripped and the rights to express our Godly thoughts in public are being suppressed. We have to come together and fight for a future that was meant for us, not one that challenges our beliefs and our right as American citizens.
We need to work together to find solutions and common ground that gives us back what is rightfully ours, to give what unites and completes us as a Godly country, as a Godly people. We need to show the world who America is; a place of hope, a place of faith, a place of unity, a place of admiration. Instead, they see us in a realm constructed by our media, our Hollywood and our sinful society. If we look up and remember where we came from and put people in office who truly remember what America was meant to be we may have a fighting chance.
Instead we have liberals shaping us and a world that looks upon us in a way that is shameful instead of a way that is heroic. Let us be that Nation again, let us see ourselves for who we truly are and let the world know that God placed us here to make a difference for those who are oppressed and live by the hands of adversity. Let us do what we were designed to be and let us look at ourselves knowing we have the responsibility and the right to take that next step bringing us back as “One Nation Under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all”.
